Private Label Rights, or PLR is a type of content that you can purchase, and use as your own. You can purchase everything from articles, to audio files, to video files. Each publisher provides different rights with their PLR content, but most of the time, you’ll be able to add your own name to the content, rewrite it, break it up into pieces to publish over time, or even just publish it as is.

There aren’t a lot of high quality PLR content providers out there, but they do exist. Try searching “purchase [insert your niche here] PLR articles” and see what comes up. Chances are you’ll turn up at least a few results, and it’s just a matter of sifting through them to find the best fit for your needs.

Once you have found some high quality PLR content that suits your niche, it’s time to decide exactly what to do with it. Often times, with just a few simple rewrites, PLR content can be made to fit multiple niches. You can quickly and easily take a piece of PLR content, and turn it into several different ebooks that you can then sell to several different groups of consumers. For example, an article on saving money could be reworked to appeal specifically to working moms, or college students. You’ll have to rewrite some parts of the article, and maybe even alter, or completely remove a few parts of the article, but in the end, you will wind up with a product you can sell to several niches.

You can also take your PLR content and turn it into a physical product. Most consumers see physical products as having a higher value than digital ones. By producing an actual book instead of just an ebook, you are opening yourself up to a whole new set of customers, and the best part is, you can charge them more than you would have for the digital version of the same product.

With some quality PLR content, and a little effort, you can create a product with broad reaching appeal. By taking the time to work with the content, you can make it work for a wide variety of niches, and attract an even wider variety of customers. The best part is, you will save an incredible amount of time by not writing the content yourself, and after all, time is money.
